stein cattle, field corn and to

Dean R. Bollinger
Dean R. Bollinger
Dean R Bollinger is the son
of Mr. and Mrs Mark F Bol
linger of Lititz, R D #1 He is a
senior in agriculture at Warwick
High School. Dean has served as
the Secretary of the local chap
tei, attended Penn State FFA
Week and the National FFA
Convention. His farming pro
gram has centered around field
corn and laying hens Dean has
been on the school honor roll
several times during his high
school career and plans to enter
into the field of Agribusiness
upon graduation.
Jesse Balmer
Jesse L. Bahner, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Jesse G. Balmer of Lit
itz, R 4 is a senior in agriculture
at Warwick High School. He has
served as Chaplain and as Pres
ident of the local chapter. He
has been quite active in showing
his Purebred Guernsey’s, mar
ket hogs and in entering the

shown the Giand Champion
Guernsey female at the Distuct
Junior FFA Dairy show the last
two years. Jesse has attended
Penn State FFA Activities Week
on two occasions and the Na
tional FFA Convention. His
piesent farming piogram con
sists of 3 Guernsey cattle, 13
acres of field corn and he has
fed 20 hogs per year. He has
also seived as the President of
the county 4-H Club. He plans
to farm at home after gradua
tion.
J. Scott Weaver
J. Scott Weaver, a Garden
Spot Senior, is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. John J. Weaver, New
Holland Rl. He raises sweet
corn and in work experience
was employed by Kauffman’s in
New Holland. Scott also does
lawn care work and retail’s
farm hardware.
In FFA he is active in public
speaking, dairy judging and
meat judging and was a mem
ber of the State FFA Chorus for
two years. Scott attended both
the state summer and winter
conventions and was a delegate
to the Kansas City Convention.

Merlin Snacler, a senior at
Garden Spot High School is the
sen of Mr. and Mrs. Lester D.
Snader, East Earl HI He has
had major farming and work
experience projects in swine,
tobacco and com. He has a four
sow breeding program and uses
corn from his project as feed.
He has also worked for Victor
F. Weaver Inc. in New Holland
for work experience.
His major activities in FFA
have included being a delegate
to the National FFA Convention
in Kansas City; on the chapter
parliamentary procedure team;
and the public speaking repie
sentative Merlin was in the
