Gerlach was cit ed for his support of- the local FFA Chapters and his interest in the County Ag program. “His assistance ,and leadership is much appreciated,” Givler said. The local Citation Award goes to the Lancaster Livestock Ex change for their effort in ar rangement of the annual County FFA Swine Show at the Lancas ter Stockyards and the handling of the following sale of the swine projects. Also to be honored in the awards pi ogram is Mr and Mrs. Howaid Weber, Mohnton R 2, the parents of State Secretary Kenneth 'E Weber Mr. Weber will receive the Honorary Key stone Farmer Degrees and Mrs. Weber will be presented with a Citation Certificate. Earl Stauffer, Cloister Chap ter was also reported a runner up to the Regional II Star Farm er, George Ungemach, Little Dutchman Chapter in Lebanon County. The awards are scheduled to he conferred on these candi dates January 15 at the Forum of the Educational Building in Harrisburg. 3. It is the farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry F. Houser, 436 Beaver Valley Pike. The farm is also known as Big Spring Farm which includes 50 acres located just East of the junction of 272 and 222. Mr. Houser is well-known in poultry circles and the big spring in their front yard is an attraction to the many tour ists who find rest at the farm home.
