Formed; Officers Are Elected The newly formed Ephrata Area Young Farmers Associa tion held its organizational meet ing last Tuesday evening and e'ected the first set of officers. These men will serve a one year term of office These offi cers, along with the advisor, will make up the executive commit- Solanco Farm Welding Course Starts Nov. 5 A farm welding course for those who would like to learn the basic fundamentals of farm welding will be held at Solanco High School, beginning Novem ber 5 The course will consist of one meeting per week for five weeks, and will cover the basic fundamentals of farm welding and other jobs the farm welder may be used for. The course will begin on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p m and will end at 10.00 p m. each evening. Monday will be the normal meeting night. The objectives of the associa tion are to provide more effect ive group instruction, on-farm instruction and group activities. The services will still remain available to all persons in the area even if they do not see fit to join the association.
