Curtis Rataiczak, Beaver Val ley Egg Farm, Quaker City, Ohio, won the "Best of Show Gold Award" with a perfect score of 100 points. Ratoiczak’s entry of a dozen medium white eggs packed under' his home brand name lopped a field of 107 entries. Firms located in nine of the 14 northeastern states in the NEPPCO area participated in the contest. Pennsylvania led the list with 57 entries, New Jersey and New Yoik were each repicsented by 14 entries and Maryland had the next largest entry list with 11.
