Years Service As 4-H Leader

er for 35 yean headed a lilt of
28 local leaders honored for
length of service at the Annual
4-H Leader's Banquet held Mon
day evening at the Farm and
Home Center. Longenecker has
served as an adult leader in
both the Red Rose Baby Beef
Club and Elizabethtown-Donc
gal Community Club. He was
presented with a service pin.
Cited for 2S years of service
was Mrs. Harold Fry, Mrs. Har
old Stuber and Richard Lefever
and Mrs. John J. Herr has serv
ed for 20 years.

Education in Lancaster County.
Kraft told the 225 persons in
attendance that new Vo-Tech
schools to be located at the
western end. of Mount Joy;
between Brownstown and Akron
and near Willow Street. “They
will meet the needs of our
population,” he said.
The director said the things
to consider in this type of pro
iect are- 1, student needs; 2,
community needs and 3, the la
