Clark (D.- Pa.), speaking at the Lancaster County Farm and Home Center Wednesday night, urged preser vation of the family* farm as “important to our survival in the world community.” Clark told the predominately rural audience of his efforts in tne Senate to prevent giant cor porations from squeezing out the family farm and of his work fot programs to give the small farmer a chance by raising farm income and bringing economic development opportunities to ru ral Pennsylvania. “The family farm, with its heritage of working toward a common goal and for the com mon good, embodies the best spirit of our communities.
