The animal purchased was
one of 31 auctioned at the Hol
stein sale. The average price was
$1,208 per head, highest- in the
history of the state sale. Last
year’s average was $1,027.08 per
head for 41 animals.
Highest price of this year’s
sale was $2,600 paid for a 6-year
old, “Har-Gal Abbekerk Su
preme,” by R. Peter Heffering
and Ken Trevena, of Amenta,
N.Y. The animal-consigned by
Paul J. King, of Cochranville,
