King, head of the Department of Animal Sci ence at The Pennsylvania State University, said researchers and livestockmen haven’t been able to produce one as yet but be cause of tremendous strides in the fields of feeding and ge netics, the average hog today yields pounds more lean meat than did the average hog 12 years ago.
