MANDATORY FOR YOUNG
HUNTERS NEXT YEAR
Pennsylvania youths were re
minded this week by the Game
Commission that hunter safety
tiaining docs not become manda
tory in the slate until Sept. 1 of
next year.
After Sept. 1, 1969, a youth un
der the age of sixteen who has
never possessed a hunting li
cense will be requited to com
plete a hunter safety training
course before being eligible for
a hunting license.
Some hunters apparently think
the rule becomes effective this
year. It does not apply until
1969.

A well equipped farm shop
can save farmers a considerable
amount of money, says Will
