MACHINERY: lnt’l #27 baler with bale ejector (used one
season), Int’l. heavy duty chuck wagon (new), lnt’l. blower with
50’ pipe and Ont. 13 hoe drill, John Deere #4020 Tractor - Diesel,
J.D. B Tractor with workers, J.D. 5 Bottom 16” Plow - mounted,
J.D. 12 ft. spring tooth harrow, J.D. 13 hoe drill, J.D. #l6-A flail
chopper; J.D. #ll5 chuck wagons (2), J.D. #l4-T baler, J.D.
#33 manure spreader and New Idea manure loader.
DAIRY EQUIPMENT: Wilson 645 gal. stainless steel bulk
tank with Dr. Walker stamp, 4 DeLaval milkers, De Laval timer.
Surge 4 unit vacuum pump, 30 gal. gas heater, double wash vat,
160 ft. vacuum line, and other dairy supplies.
FEED: 30 acres of standing corn,
65 DAIRY CATTLE: 40 head mature cows of which 18 head
have been fresh in the last 6 weeks. Ten are close springers and
the balance is in full flow of milk bred back for late fall
freshening. Of the cows now milking, the average milk weight is
45 lbs. Twenty-two head of open Holstein heifers ranging in age
from 6 mo. to 2 yrs. One Hereford bull.
This herd is T. B. Accredited, Certified Bangs Free, calfhood
vaccinated and tested within 30 days of sale for interstate ship
ment. Health charts available with each cow.
