Trophies for the grand cham pion and reserve grand champion were presented to the winners from the Lancaster County Swine Breeders Assn, by James Horton, association secretary. Ruoss also won the grand champion fitter title, a repeat of his 1967 win. The grand cham pion showman title was won by Earl Stauffer, who won four oth er championships. Stauffer, son of Mr. and Mrs Clarence Stauffer, won the Hampshire championship, and reserve titles in Yorkshire, Dur oc, and open class divisions. Weaver, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luke L. Weaver, Ephrata Rl, won his first top title in his second year of countywide FFA competition. The leserve fitter title went to Tom Zartman, Ephrata, with Lester Bowman, Garden Spot, in third. Weaver won the reserve showman title, with Kenneth Weber, Garden Spot, in third. Judge for the show again this year was Henry Gruber, of Ar bogast and Bastion Packing Co, Allentown Other breed title winners were as follows: Yorkshire championship, Roy Musser, Garden Spot; Hampshire reserve, Glenn Oberholtzer, Eliz abethtown; Poland China, Jay Smoker, and Clark Stauffer, both Ephrata; Spotted Poland China, both titles to Jay Smoker; Ches ter White, both titles to Dennis Hess, Warwick; Landrace, Lin ford Martin and Barry Alexan der, both Garden Spot; Duroc, Ruoss, champion; and Berkshue, Paul Swanger, Elizabethtown, champion.
