Agricultural Conservation
We have discontinued taking
applications for 1968 AGP prac
tice, as all funds allocated to
the County have been used.
The 1969 AGP will probably
open for enrollment in October.
Wheat Price Support
Farmers enrolled in the 1968
wheat program are eligible for
price support loans on the crop
now being harvested.
Loan rate for wheat stored on
the farm is $1.41 per bushel for
No. 1 wheat.
Warehouse loan rate is $1.31
per bushel for No. 1 wheat.
Storage is available in the
County at Cargill’s, Marietta,
and Weaver’s, at Lititz and New
Providence.
The following discounts will
be made based on grade deter
minations;
No. 2, -1c; No. 3, -3c; No. 4,
6c; No. 5, -9c; Light Garlicky,
-sc; Garlicky, -10 c; Light Smut
ty, -2c; Smutty, -6c.
Wheat Loans do not mature
