The spotlighting of big game

after September 1, the Game
Commission announced this
week
Governoi Raymond P Shafer
has approved legislation which
makes n illegal to cast the rays
of a spotlight, headlight 01 other
artificial light upon big game
animals on a highway, in a field
woodland or forest from mid
night prevailing time until sun

“Of course the law does not
apply to a motorist suddenly
confronted with a deer darting

Same Commission Law Enforce

said “It is intended to prevent
the deliberate practice of spot
lighting big game animals”
Spotlighting of deer is a popu
lar practice m the state being
enjoyed by the non-hunting pub
lie as well as sportsmen The
new law will not curb the sport
during evening hours; it only
curtails the practice after mid

Another problem brought about
by spotlighting is the danger of
slow moving vehicles The driv

Eliminating the old-fashioned pitman comes close to
eliminating vibration that shortens the life of mow

side-mounted for extra visibility.., and one is a

"Oats ugh I couldn't bear the sight of them
or hay either. Sometimes I could hardly catch my
breath, and the least little trot made me cough 'til
I thought I'd die.
"1 had the heaves and I was miserable."
"Then my owner discovered New Hope Complete
Horse Feed—no oats, nothing of any kind to stir op
my allergies. My, how good it felt to really ept again,
to be free from that terrible, hacking cough.
"If you're a victim of the heaves too, send your master
as fast as he can go to get some Wayne New Hope
Complete Horse Feed. Of course he has some other
excellent horse feeds for horses that can still eat hay,
but as for me. I'm sticking with Wayne New Hope
Complete Horse Feed."
