Club Congress is designed to
develop an appreciation and un
derstanding of international
problems and to practice lead
ership and the acceptance of
responsibility for independent
group actions. In addition,
members will share and contri
bute ideas with others upon
their return home. At Congress
they will participate in assem
blies, discussion and interest
groups, and recreational activi
ties.
Several conference speakers
are Miss Vonda Kay Van Dyke,
former Miss America; Dr. Dale
Milligan, pastor of a Pittsburgh
church: Dr. J. R. Rackley. Penn
State provost, and Dr. Russell
E. Larson, dean of the Penn
State College of Agriculture.
Cooperative Extension Ser
vice personnel, including Uni
versity staff members, county
agents, and Extension home
economists, will assist with pro
gram activities.
