Ladies, Have You Heard?...
When a new baby arrives, it’s up to the
parents to note an older child’s natural feel
ings about the newest family member.
At the first sign of jealousy, do your best
to cope with the situation before it gets out of
hand.
When friends and relatives come to see
the new baby, bring the older child into the
spotlight to make him feel important too.
Make a special point to give the older
child attention and praise him when he does a
job well.
Once the child is assured that the new
baby will not threaten his family status, the
battle will be over.
You can help your older child
look forward ta the day when
he can help care for the new
baby.

When A New Baby Arrives
THOMAS
Beauty is a habit and there
are many habit-forming ways
to overcome the aging process
that shows up on your face.
Watch facial mannerisms.
Guard against furrowing your
brow, pouting frequently, or
other little grimaces that can
etch lines into your face.
Diet is more important than
ever in mature years. Select a
sensible diet and stick to it.
Work out a well-balanced, pleas
ant regime, preferably under
medical supervision, that will
stabilize your weight and still
permit you to enjoy meals.
Rest is an important factor
for the young look. Analyze
your own stamina, find an ef
fective schedule, and stick to
it.
Skin care must be regular.
Cold weather, too much sun,
windburn, and steam heat can
have an aging effect. Slackening
of the natural skin lubricants is
likely to affect each person dif
ferently.
Scrubbed look is the big sec
ret weapon of many women who
don’t show their years.
Wash your face thoroughly
with soap and water to remove
dust and makeup. This cleans

Tips On Buying
Fresh Pineapples
Choose a fresh pineapple that
looks clean, fresh, and is heavy
for its size.
Check to see that it’s free
from bruises.
A pineapple that’s square
shouldered has less waste than
a pineapple that’s narrow at the
top.
To test for ripeness, pull a
green leaf from the crown. If it
comes out easily, chances are
the pineapple is ripe.
