tempting tuna dishes as satis
fying as they are quick and easy 1
to prepare.
QUICK SKILLET
TUNA SUPPER
V\ cup chopped green onions
and stems
Vt cup snipped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons butter or mar
garine
3 cups cooked rice (regular
or instant)
1 can (6% or 7-oz.) chunk
style tuna, drained
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Vi teaspoon grated lemon peel
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Vi cup grated Cheddar cheese
Garlic salt
In large skillet saute onions
and parsley in butter until soft;
add rice and saute until golden.
Add tuna; cook until heated.
Pour mixture of beaten eggs,
lemon peel and juice and grat
ed cheese over tuna-nce. Stir
quickly until cheese is melted
and eggs are set Season to
taste with garlic salt Dust
lightly with paprika, if desired

style tuna
1 pkg. (10-oz.), frozen chopped
spinach
1 can (10)i-oz.) condensed
cream of mushroom soup
Vi teaspoon grated lemon peel
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Paprika
Drain and flake tuna; cook
spinach and drain very well.
Combine undiluted soup with
lemon peel, 1 tablespoon lemon
juice, melted butter, onions and
water. Toss remaining lemon
juice with spinach to season
well. Place half of tuna in well
buttered IVz quart casserole;
cover with % cup soup mixture,
then layer of remaining tuna.
•Add layer of spinach and sprin
kle with croutons. Pour over re
maining soup mixture: dust
lightly with paprika. Bake at
35P degrees for 30 minutes. 4
servings.

pint small curd cottage
cheese
hard-cooked eggs, chopped
cup finely chopped celery
cup mayonnaise
teaspoon grated lemon peel
to 2 tablespoons lemon juice

charge of devotions.
Plans were made to entertain

board report was given by Mrs.
Nauman, president.
Two Society members will
serve at the Heart Haven Ba
zaar, April 30.

Hospital on May 31.
Plans were also made to see
the film, Dr. Doolittle, in Phila
