ACTIVITY AT THE FARM AND HOME CENTER
Members of 4-H Clubs and some of the leaders worked last
Saturday morning at the new Farm and Home Center
Building to plant 190 trees and shrubs. The 4-H’ers donated
their time and three nurseries donated the trees. The land
scaping project was completed in less than four hours.
Nursery donors were: Herr’s Lancaster County Nurs
ery, Erb Brothers and Root’s Nursery. Peat moss was
donated by Stauffer’s of Kissel Hill.
M. M. Smith, County Agent, said Thursday morning the
trees need rain but if they don’t get it the facilities at the
center will be used to water them. L. F. Photo
