The decision is based on evi dence presented at a public hearing on national milk order prices February 23 in Memphis, Tenn held at the request of dairy farmer cooperatives. The farmers asked for action by USDA to assure price stabil ity in Federal milk order mar kets across the country. With the assurance of improved milk order prices farmers said they could better plan their dairy op erations for the coming year, and be able to continue provid ing steady, sure supplies of high quality m»k for consumers.
