And to prove the fact, they will be holding their annual Ox- Roast, a Lititz tradition since the mid-1930’5, on Thursday. March 28 at the Lititz Commun ity Center. High-lighting this year’s pro gram will be a presentation by big game hunter, George Yocum Jr., of Reading. Yocum, who is a factory sales respesentative for W. R. Weaver Co., makers of Weaver gun scopes, has hunt ed in Africa, Alaska, Canada, Mexiso and most of the United States. On his most recent sa fari to Tanzanea Province, Afri ca, he bagged the infamous “Big Five”, which means Lion, Cape Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard and Rhinoceros. An amateur photographer and avid sportsman, Yocum will show home movies of his last African trip, complete with per sonal commentary. The meal will be served at 6:30 p.m., and the program, which is to include door-prizes valued at more than $3OO, will begin immediately after the meal. An event for members of the association, the officers will have memberships for sale at the door. Cost of membership is $2.00 and the meal is priced at one dollar. Local and statewide conserva tion and sporting officials along with local contributors to the sportsmanship programs of the association will be honored guests at the event. Association president, Philip McCloud, stated that “we are now building the size and re sponsibilities of the Lititz Sports men, and we invite all sport minded citizens, and for the first time this will include the sports woman.” Podiatry Is Included By Pa. Blue Shield CAMP HILL, PA - Pennsyl vania Blue Shield benefits will be broadened at no additional cost to most members to include many podiatry (chiropody) serv ices, it was announced today by Matthew K. Gale, president of the state-wide health care financ ing plai. Payment for the new benefits becomes effective on March 1. The podiatry benefits become part of most Blue Shield agree ments on March 1. Members covered under experience-rated master pontracts will have the new benefits as their contracts are renegotiated. Cost of the broadened cover age will be defrayed from Blue Shield reserves which have been accumulated over the years to provide additional benefits to members as further professional services are made available and are desired by the members, Mr. Gale said. Podiatry services to be cover ed by Blue Shield include the following; incision and drainage of infected tissues of the foot, removal of lesions of the foot, removal of infected toenails and treatment of fractures and dis locations of bones of the foot Services excluded from cover age include: procedures consid ered to be a part ot routine foot care, such as treatment of corns, bunions and calluses: non-surgi cal care of toenails, fallen arch es and other symptomatic com plaints of the feet, except where
