at the home of Mrs Robert Bal

with Mrs. Balmer as hostess

meeting was held 50 years ago
Twenty-five members attended.
Mrs. George Za h n led the
singing and devotions Mrs Roy
Brubaker, president, conducted
the meeting and read resolutions
of the State Convention.
Mrs. Barbara Moore and Mrs
Zahn gave reports on the State

Street, with 23 memoers and 2
guests present The meeting
was opened with the singing of
the theme song. “Brighten the
Corner Where You Are “ Alter
devotions were given by Mrs.
Arthur Groff, roll call was an-
swered by giving an appropriate
thought for the month of Feb
ruary and the By-La vs were
read.
In addition to the regular
meeting, the group sewed 225
cancer pads A nomination was
made and passed that a gilt be
given to each member who has
perfect attendance for the past
year.
Mrs Samuel Lynch was taken
into the Society as a new mem
ber
Mrs Thomas reported on the
State Convention
Plans were made to hold a
food stand at the Kenneth Grotf
Sale Wednesday Feb 21 and
the society also conducted the
food stand at the Benny Fisher
Sale on Feb. 2 Co-hostess were
Mrs Arthur Groff, Mrs. Chris
tian Landis and Mrs Perry
