Disploy At Form Show
HARRISBURG A new look
in poultry and poultry products
of special interest to house
wives will go on parade at
the 1968 Pennsylvania Farm
Show, January 15-19
The display, to be set up in
the poultry exhibit area, will
feature a battery of refrigerated
showcases filled with virtually
every type of poultry pioduct
now available to the consumer
trade. It will include everything
from turkey and chicken rolls
to the newest heat-and-serve
products
The display also will feature
a complete poultry production
unit.
It will start with a plastic
enclosed incubator where baby
chicks can be seen hatching
from their eggs Another-seg
ment will show a cut-away sec-
tion of a poultry house which
will be complete with older
birds and equipment, including
egg processing and grading
units.
The display was proposed by
the Pennsylvania Poultry Mar
keting Advisory Council to help
tell the story of poultry produc
tion to the public. Cooperating
with the Council are the Penn

To Get Free Ride
Visitors to the 52nd Pennsyl
vania Farm Show, which, opens
ait 8 am., Jan. 15, wJI get free
rides from a state-owned park
ing lot to the Farm Show Build
ing.
State Secretary of Agricul
ture Leiand H Bull said the
bus service os being furnished
by the Pennsylvania Farmer, a
publication for farmers.
It marks the first time visitors
have been given the luxury of
a bus ride from the parking lot
located 500 yards from the man
building.
“Farm Show visitors will ap
preciate the bus service,” Bull
said, “No one realizes the size
of the parking lot until they
have to walk from a distant cor
ner to the Farm Show Building
on a cold, windy, winter day.”
