Boy Brubaker showed a film
on the “Restless Sea," by the
Bell Telephone Company.
The next meeting will be at
the home of Mrs. Robert Bal
mer, Rome Road, Litutz, with
speaker George Scattergood
talking on the “Romance of
Glass ” The meeting will be on
Saturday, Feb 3 at 130 pm.

Mr. and Mrs. George DeLong
showed their hobbies of large
post cards and matches which
they have collected in their
travels around the country

Naissley and Mrs. Henry Brene
man.
The February meeting will
be held in the social room of
the Elizabethtown National
Bank.

Farm & Home Center.
The speaker for the meeting
was Mrs Lynoel Walker, of
Milford, NJ, who talked on a
leper colony in Thailand where
she worked as a nurse.
Two -solos were sung by Mrs
Shank’s granddaughter, Lu Ann
McKinney.
The next meeting will be
held at the home of Mrs Harry
Stoat, 116 Charles Rd, Lancas
ter Mrs Clay Rice will act as
co-hostess.

of the day was spent making
cancer pads
A covered dish luncheon was
held
Mrs Hayes Hastings, presi
dent, held a short -business
meeting.
The annual spaghetti dinner
will be held Saturday at the
Odd Fellows Hall, Kirkwood.
The husbands will be guests.

to Society 14 ”
Mrs Edward Jerchau from
Christ Home, Paradise, gave a
talk on the Tragedies of a Brok
en Home and told how the pro
gram operates.
Co-hostesses were Mildred
Herr, Velma Hess and Jennie
Himmelreich.
The Society will sew at the
Lancaster General Hospital on
February 1 fiom 9 to 3.
