Larry L. High, 18-year-old son
of Mr. and Mrs Harvey High,

Senior at Garden Spot High
School- He has served as -treas
urer of the Grassland -Chapter
and was a delegate to the Na
tional FFA Convention. High
represented -the chapter in the
State FFA Chorus and was the
area winner of the PP&L Farm
Eleotricatien Award He also
won the -New Holland J. C. Mar
ket lamb

Douglas C. Houck
Douglas C Houck, 17-year-old
son of Mr and Mrs Richard

Michael E. Smucker
Michael E Smucker, 17-year
old son of Mr. and Mrs Edward

School.
He has served as President of
the -Grassland Chapter and is
active in -his church youth group
and has been a part of the FFA
Banquet, Scholarship and Exec
utive Committees. Smucker has
been in the Public Speaking
Contest, Creed Contest, County
Livestock Judging Contest and
the Tractor Driving Contest.

Kenneth E. Weber
Kenneth E Weber, 18-year
old son of Mr. and Mrs Howard

He has served as Secretary of
his Chapter and Scholarship
committee chairman. Weber
was a delegate to the 1967 Sum
mer PFA Convention ait Penn
State and was in the State Dairy
Judging Contest and the State
Record Book Contest He was a
winner of the Chapter Sears &
Roebuck Gult.

Galen J. Yoder
Galen J. Yoder, 17-year-old
son of Mr. and Mrs Mark Yo
der, Elverson R 2, is a Senior at
Garden Spot High School. He
has served as Vice President of
Ms Chapter and is a past Secre
tary of the County Red Rose
Chapter. Yoder was. a delegate
to,the National apd'StaterFFA
Convention -and. a member of
the state livestock-FPA Judging
Team. He-won a bronze medal
in the Pennsylvania Record,
Book Contest, ‘and. was the win
ner of the Chapter atid County
Sears & Roebuck Gilt Founda
tion Award. .He was a delegate
to the County Red Rose Chap
ter and attended the past three
York-Lancaster Leadership Con
ventions.

William M. Buchter
William Buchter is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Paul. Buiehte,
E'Pbcata»,Rl.- Ball, is a twelfth
grade member ol the Cloister.
FFA and holds the office of
president; he is also vice presi
dent of the Red Rose chapter.
His farming program includes
5 market hogs, 1 sow slid litter,
2 acres of held corn, 2 acres' Of
tobacco, and a steer. Rill has
exhibited his livestock ‘at the
Pennsylvania Livestock Exposi
tion and the State Farm 'Show,
in 1965 he was named winner
of the Ephrata Jaycee Steer.
Last summer at the State FFA
convention, Bill won a bronze
medal in livestock judging. He
attended the National ETA Con
vention held in Kansas City as
a chapter delegate.
Linford Weaver
Linford Weaver is the son of
Mr and Mrs Luke Weaver of
Eptorata Rl. Linford is a 1967
graduate of Eptorata High
'School. He started 'has vocation
al agriculture studies in tenth
grade and joined the FFA. Dur
ing his senior year toe held the

Terry has shown his market

FFA show 'the last four years
and won. numerous ribbons. He
also won a ‘bronze medaWn the
state poultry judging contest
held during the summer FFA
convention at Penn State. Terry
also attended the National FFA
