Butterfat Record Brattleboro, Vt Another official pi eduction record ex ceeding a half ton of butterfat has been completed by Blosso melle Zsa Zsa 5051343, (EX), a Registered Holstein cow owned by Herbert and Rhelda E Roj er, Lancaster. This is the third time that “Zsa Zsa” has achiev ed the 1,000 lbs butterfat pro duction level in a single lacta tion This record ranks among 2,370 similarly completed by Registered Holstein cows on official test. The Pennsylvania Holstein’s official record of production to talled 25,690 lbs. of milk and 1,029 lbs. of butterfat in 305 days. She started her lactation at the age of 6 years and 11 months and was milked thiee times daily Blossomelle Zsa Zsa was bred in the Royer herd. She was sir ed by Osborndale Ivanhoe 1189870 (EX), a bull that has earned a Gold Medal Sue re cognition.
