Mrs. Charles Hoover. Mrs,
Charles Ebersole and Mrs.
John Weaver Jr., members of
the program committee, pre
sented door prizes. Mrs. Sam
uel Wenger, president, con
ducted the meeting. She ap
pointed Mrs. Walter Snead and
Mrs. Martin Hersh to audit the
treasurer’s book. Mrs. Harold
Eby gave highlights of the
county convention.
Next meeting will be at the
home of Mrs. Milton Landis,
Parkesburg R 2, on Dec. 9 at 2
pm. -A gift exchange will be
held and a donation will be
taken for charity.

Mrs. William Bard and Mrs.
Susann Reitzel were named
delegates to attend the state
convention at a meeting of So
ciety of Farm Women 13 held
Thursday at the home of Mrs.
John Bare, Witmer. The con
vention,will be held in Harris
burg in January.
Plans were made for a rum
mage sale to ibe held at the
Malta Temple on Nov. 15 and 16.
The" next meeting will be
held Dec. 2 at the East Lam
peter Elementary School at 6
p.m. Members will entertain
their families at a Christmas
party Mrs. Claude Miller, Mrs.
John Miller, Mrs. John Hoover
and Mrs. Irvin Leaman are in
charge of the party.
Mrs. Raymond Denlingerwas
co-hostess for the meeting.
