Grange MemLars Hold Meeting Next Week Harrisburg An estimated 1,500 Pennsylvanians, from nearly all counties, will leave this weekend for Syracuse, N. Y., for the centennial conven tion of the National Grange, a 30-day event. John W. Scott, Harrisburg, state master and national sec retary of the Grange, said convention caravans from this and other states will halt in Gettysburg at noon on Sun day, Nov. 12, for the dedica tion of a plaque in honor of Will.am Saunders, first nation al master who drew the plans for the Gettysburg National Cemetery. Governor Raymond P. Shafer will give the dedica tory address. Four individual and team winners in talent contests at the recent Pennsylvania State Grange session at Gettysburg will appear on the national convention stage. One of them, a Mercer county Pomona team, will exemplify degree work. Three others will compete in national talent finals.
