When ready, the Center will serve as a common meeting place for the farmers of Lancaster County, not only for their many meetings and activities, but also as the source of the many (Continued on Page 7) Charles Shuman Charles Shuman To Speak At Farmers’ Meet Chailes B Shuman, presi dent of the American Farm Bureau Federation, will be the 'speaker for the Lancaster County Fai mers’ Association Annual Meeting, which will be held m Lancaster Tuesday, Oct 17, at the Holiday Inn, ac cording to an announcement made by Noah Wenger, Asso ciation president Each year the Lancaster Farmers’ Association meets to discuss local policy and make policy suggestions to the Penn sylvania Farmers’ Association, an affiliate of the American Farm Bureau Federation The Lancaster organization has 1,- 030 family memberships in the local unit. President Shuman became president of the American Farm Bureau, the largest gen eral farm organization in the world, in December 1954, and. has been re-elected president for six additional two-year terms.
