Mrs. David Holt, Lincoln University, who is serving the Middle Atlantic Region on the American Farm Bureau Fed erations’ Womens Committee, explained the woman’s role in the association and spoke on the purpose and function of the Lancaster County Teachers Council. 'Mrs. Clyde Wivell, chairman of the Women’s Committee, said that the phrase “Agricul ture Is Where the Action Is”, could be used synonymously with the phrase “Education Is Where the Action Is”, in the three proposed Vo Tech Schools. J. Richard Murr, Coordinator of these Vo Tech Scnools, told the group of its program and growth as well as the value of what Abe Lincoln said, “Want ing to work is so rare a merit that it should be encouraged ” Supervising Principal of the E. Lancaster County Schools, Robert P. Simon, explained the Vo-Ag program from ele mentary grades through high school and told the group of the areas of instruction such as conservation, safety around the farm, safety in hunting and around machinery, agri business and general vo-agri culture.
