today. Take the Strawberry Fluff Pie whip
in air and produce a less concentrated filling.
Each serving of Strawberry Fluff Pie will
be lower in calories than the same size piece
of apple or lemon meringue pie. By cutting
eight wedges you can further lower calorie
count per serving.

1 9-in. pie shell, baked
1 package frozen straw
berries. thawed
1 envelope unflaiored gela
tin
1 1 cup water
1 package (2 oz) dessert
topping mix, prepaied

PEACH TARTS
IV4 cups sifted enriched flour
% teaspoon salt
Ms cup shortening
3-6 tablespoons water
1 package (2% oz.) custard
mix, prepared
1 package (10 oz.) frozen
peach slices, thawed and
drained
Sift together flour and salt.
Cut in shortening until pieces
are size of small peas. Sprinkle
with water, a little at a time,
mixing lightly until dough be
gins to stick together. Turn
out onto lightly floured sur
face and press together. Roll
out Vs-inch thick. Cut 8 or 9
circles: form over tops and
sides of inverted muffin tins.
Prick bottoms and sides; bakf
in preheated 450 degree oven,
10 to 12 minutes, or until light
ly browned. Remove from tin?
and cool on wire racks. Pour
prepared custard max into
cooled shells When firm, cov
er tops with peach slices. Re
frigerate until ready to seive.
PINK LEMONADE
CREAM PUFFS
% cup water
6 tablespoons butter
% cup sifted enriched flour
Dash salt
3 eggs
1 envelope unflavored gela
tin
V* cup water
I can (6 oz.) frozen pink
lemonade concentrate
Whipped topping
Bring water and butter to
boil in heavy saucepan, stir
ring until butter melts. Add
flour and salt all at once. Re
duce heat Cook, stirring con
stantly, until mixture is smooth
and forms a soft ball; 1 to 2
minutes. Remove from heat
and cool slightly. Add eggs,
one at a time, beating well af
ter each addition until batter
is smooth and shiny. Drop by
tablespoons onto lightly greas
ed baking sheet. Bake in pre
heated 400 degree oven, 25 to
30 minutes, or until golden
:e brown. Cool on wire racks.
’> Sprinkle gelatin on cold water
to soften. Combine lemonade

’ boiling. Remove from heat, mix
in gelatin until well-blended
Chill. Meanwhile, make Whip
