Hatfield Charles Ord, formerly with the lowa Farm Bureau Federa tion, has been employed as ad ministrative secretary of the Pennsylvania Fanners’ Associ ation. according to an an nouncement made this week by PFA President G. A. Biggs. Mr. Ord replaces Hollis A. Hat field, who was promoted to the research staff of the American Farm Bureau Federation (AF BF). The PFA is an affiliate of the American Farm Bureau “We have a proven leader to head the PFA staff,” President Biggs commented “Charles Ord has had valuable experi ence (11 years with Farm Bu reau) on the field staffs of the Illinois Agricultural Associa tion (Farm Bureau) and the lowa Farm Bureau Federation The new executive head as sumed bis PFA position Sep tember 18 at the Camp Hill, Pa. office. A native of Illinois, Mr C-d started his work with the Farm Bureau organization in his home state of Illinois, where he served as county secretary of the Edgar County Farm Bu reau. Following graduation, he enter ed the U S Air Force, being discharged 4 Vs years later with the rank of captain. His first job after his mili tary service was with the Mc- Donnell Air Craft Corp in the Process Engineering Depart ment: in St Louis.
