last Friday, slaughter steers,
heifers and cows sold 25-50 low
er, with slaughter steers mostly
25 lower. Bulls declined 50. In
the carlot dressed meat trade
at Chicago, steer "beef sold SO
LDO lower, heifer beef was 50
lower, while cow beef was un
changed.
Local receipts 20,900, com
pared with 16,800 last week and
18,300 last year. Twelve market
receipts 189,100, compared with
141,800 last week and 178,300
last year.
