Supplies of light hens were ample for this week’s needs; however, inquiries for next week were reported very light in Penna. but adequate in New Jersey. Few sales of light hens in Penna. brought as high as CVhc; 12c on heavy hens. Offer ings of heavy hens were ade quate but limited. Prices paid at farm: Light Type Hens 4-6 mostly 5%-6c; Heavy Type Hens 11c. TURKEYS Live turkey sales were gen erally fair on toms to lighter on hens.
