the advance mainly on Average
Choice and Better over 1150 lbs.
Slaughter heifers were uneven,
weights over 900 lbs. were
steady to strong, while kinds
under 900 lbs. sold steady to
weak. Cows declined 25-75,
while bulls sold steady to weak.
In the carlot dressed meat trade
at Chicago, steer beef sold
steady to 100 higher, heifer
