Bollinger became the second one m his was to get sole possession of the pig, released at the op posite end of the field by Dis trict associate director Forney Longenecker, and carry the gilt back to the truck from which she came. The plucky pig really took the game seriously, shaking off captor after captor. She was fir ally downed by Donald Bol linger and carried off to the goal line. Had Bollinger lost possession of the gilt, he would have been out of the competi tion and it would have been a brand new ballgame. But ho didn’t. The 11-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bollinger of Denver R 2, Donald didn’t come near matching his brother Eu gene’s record time at the 1965 field day when the latter won the pig in approximately one and a half minutes. As in previous years, the prize gilt was donated by Eby’s Feed Mill, Lititz.
