$10.45 an hour, covering 21 dif
ferent crawler models, the re
port states, with rates ranging
from S 5 to SIS an hour. The
most commonly reported bull
dozer was the Caterpillar D-8,
with a range of $l2 to $l7 and
an average of $14.50.
Tables included in this repoit
break custom rates down into
harvesting, plowing and cultiva
ting, spraying, miscellaneous,
and planting and drilling. Since
the crop season is pretty well
finished up in this area, tables
accompanying this article will
not include the custom planting
rates.
