Slaughter heifers were steady to 25 low er, while cows were 25-50-lower. Bulls were fully steady. In the carlot dressed meat trade, steer beef was steady to 50 higher and heifer beef was steady to 25 higher. Cow beef sold gen erally 50 lower. Receipts 20,300, compared with 18,500 last week and 19,600 a year ago. Twelve market receipts 157,000 com pared with 155,200 last week and 160,400 a year ago.
