"I was particularly pleased with the success I
had with Wayne Cattle Wormer. It has convinced
me that if an animal has worms, it can be held back
in growth, appearance and general health more than
most ot us realize -
‘ Late last summei I noticed one of my dairy
heiteis was rather unthrifty and lacking consider
ably in size, hair coat appearance and general health,
compared with the rest of the heifers it was with on
pasture
I was told by my feed dealei Grubb Supply
Co, Elizabethtown, that these Heifers pi obably had
cattle roundwoims. so I decided to worm them with
Wayne Cattle Wormer.
“In a matter of several weeks after they were
wormed the poor doing heifer was rapidly ‘catching
up’ with the rest of the gioup and looked every bit
as good and in some respects had a slight edge on
the rest of the heifers - which also improved in ap
pearance when they were brought in off pasture late
this fall
‘ I also use Wayne 32% Dairy Krums for my
milking ratio i ”

The hearing was requested
by milk dealers and several
cooperative associations in the
New York-New Jersey market,
after which, at USDA’s invita
tion. several more proposal*
were submitted by interested
persons in some of the other
order areas.
The proposals, in general,
would set an upper limit on
the level of surplus prices pro
vided under present pricing
formulas in each of the orders.
One proposal would raise the
manufacturing milk (Class II)
price level by providing that
it be not less than one dollar
below the fluid milk (Class I)
price.
The proposals also include
the request that if final action
cannot be taken by July 1,
temporary relief be granted
either through a suspension ac
tion. or a temporary amend
ment.
After considering evidence
piesented at the hearing, US
DA may recommend amending
the older Before the changes
would be made effective; it
would be necessary for at least
two thirds of the dairy farm
ers serving each of the areas
to approve
