Bixler Raps ut To Dairy Co-Ops A local dairy leader Thurs day termed a recent decision, by the Dairy Division of the U. S. Department of Agricul ture to cut service payments to cooperatives “the most serious blow to dairy farmers in 30 years.” Lewis F. Bixler, president of the Mount Joy Farmers Co- Operative Association, made the statement in regard to the proposed decision released by the USDa on January 19 The proposal 1 came as the result of a hearing in July and Au gust of 1965.
