Mrs Elmo L. Mentzer, Cum berland County, piesident of the State organization, presid ed at both the morning and af ternoon sessions in the Forum of the Education Building State Secretary of Agricul ture, Leland H. Bull, welcomed the group and reviewed the proposed plans for new facili ties of the show’s physical set up in the years ahead. Berks County was in charge of the memorial service for 39 members who died dming the past year Rev. John E. Winter, pro fessor of philosophy at Millers ville State College, was guest speaker in the afternoon. His topic was “Humor’s Place in the Examined Life.” He said that humor is as important as any other element in life and that true humor is warm, friendly, honest, human and positive. Rev.
