To Clarify Milk
Information
The need for an immediate
hearing by United States De
partment of Agriculture Was
apparent in the release from
the Market Administrates of
fice that showed dairy farmers
in Order 2 were paid .60 cents
a hundredweight more for
their milk this November com

ference occupied most of the
afternoon session. T. M. Malln,
Lancaster-York vocational agri
culture supervisor, led the
group in a lively discussion on
parliamentary procedures. This
was followed by talks and dis
cussions on public speaking by
H. B. Gerhart and J. C. Fink.
The subject of etiquette was
discussed by W. W. Schrock.
SOLANCO FFA PLANS
SPRING ACTIVITIES
The Solanco Chapter, Future
Farmers of America, held its
regular meeting recently in the
school’s vo-ag room.
Plans were discussed for bas
ketball, the Parent and Son
Banquet to be held m spring,
and the possibilities of the
chapter sponsoring a roller
skating party.
Delegates elected to repre
sent the chapter at County
FFA meetings were: Fresh
man, Charles Smith; Sopho
more, Donald Swinehart; Jun
ior, Donald Young; and Senior,
Fred Kreider
