Bayuk Cigar Board Approves Merger The board of directors of Bayuk Cigars Inc. Wednesday announced approval of the merger into Bayuk of Garcia y Vega Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary. Purpose of the merger is to bring about certain internal ef ficiencies and economies, di rectors said. It will not affect any amendment to Bayuk’s charter and the rights of Ba yuk stockholders will not be altered in any way. Directors proposed to file merger documents with the State Tax Commission of Ma ryland in about 30 days. Bull Cited At 4-H Congress HARRISBURG State Sec retary of Agriculture Leland H. Bull was recognized this week as one of eight outstand ing 4-H alumni in the United States at ceremonies held dur ing the 45th National 4-H Club Congress in Chicago. Secretary Bull received an Alumni Key award for effec tive Community leadership, public service, service to 4-H, and success in his chosen ca reer. The presentation marked the second time the Secretary has received high honors at the National 4-H Club Con gress. In 1932 he attended the event as dairy project winner from New York. One year lat er, he earned the 4-H Moses Leadership award and was se lected also as a delegate to the National 4-H Conference in Washington, D. C. Secretary Bull has main tained an active interest in 4-H and was instrumental in mak ing Pennsylvania fair funds available to 4-H and other youth activities in agriculture.
