This is his sixth year 'in 4-H baby beef club work, and his second grand champion ship He reports he also won the title at the Solanco Fair three years ago with another Angus. Miss Weaver’s win gives the Weaver girls a two-year hold on the reserve title Last year Kathy Weaver’s Angus entry placed second to a Hereford shown by Ken Rutt and owned by Fred Linton, Jr Both the Weaver girls are daughters of Mr. and Mis Jason Weaver of Quarryville R 2 Kay is a soph omore at Solanco High School, and is also in her sixth year at showing 4-H steers In the FFA division, Wil liam Frey of Quanyville R 2 showed the top Angus, and went on to wm the FPA cham pionship The Hereford cham pion, shown by Donald Swine hart, Quarryville Rl, was picked by Judge Gruber foi reserve champion in the vocational di vision Runnersup in the 4-H contest were Angus, Ronald Enck of Holtwood Rl. and, Hereford, Carol Holloway Peach Bottom R 2 Reserve breed winners in the PFA group were Angus, Donald Young, Peach Bottom; and, Hereford, Charles Murphy, also of Peach Bottom.
