placing Gene Daugherty in the
vocational agriculture depart
ment at Garden Spot High
School, according to Robert D

Daugherty, a teacher at
Garden Spot for the past five
years, and the 1966 president
of the county vo-ag teachers
association, resigned his teach
ing post effective August 1 to
accept a position with the De-

Elmer, a graduate of Penn
Manor High School and Penn
State University, did his prac
tice 'teaching at Garden Spot
in 1965. During the past year
he has been teaching agricul
ture in a York County high
school.
