Compared with ’ast weeks
close, slaughter steers were
steady to 25 lower, with the
decline mostly in High Good
to High Choice. Slaughter heif
ers sold steady. Cows were
steady and bulls were weak to
25 lower. In the carlot dress
ed meat trade, steer beef sold,
steady to 50 lower, heifer beef
was steady to 50 higher, and
cow beef was steady to 1.00
higher.
