AYRSHIRE-JERSEY CLUB
HAS JUDGING PRACTICE

The Ayrshire-Jersey 4-H Club
held its June meeting at the
home of James Esbenshade,
Quarryville R 2, with 13 mem
bers attending
Judging practice was held
with two-year-old and aged
cows Club adviser Victor
Plastow gave members some
points on judging cows
Donna Eshleman and Steve
Anowsmith were chosen to
represent the club at the
State 4-H Club Congress this
month
A contest to pick 4-H jun
ior and senior queen candi
dates will be held next month
All girls who enter must pre
pare a three-minute speech
The next meeting of the
club will be held July 11, 7 30
pm, at Steve Arrowsmith’s,
Peach Bottom R 1 A fitting,
showmanship, and judging
practice will be followed by a
swimming party

PICKS QUEEN PROSPECTS

chosen as Junior 4-H Queen
candidate

The next meeting will be
held at the Warwick High
School home economics room
on June 21 at 9 a.m.

cream party to be held July
12, at 8 pm, at the Lampeter
Community Park..
Films were shown and the
meeting was adjourned.
