per lb. Demand fair for heavy
auction offerings. Live supplies

head, compared to 878,000 head
last weekend.
In the 24 hburs preceding
market close on Friday, prices
paid at farms for broilers and
fryers ranged from 15.8-17.3
cents per lb. on reported sales
of 1.2 million head.

May 23, 1966
Receipts totaling 423 head
sold slow to steady. Riding
horses, 120-410; driving horses,
115-260; killers, 7% -8 cents
per lb. Pony mares, 20-80;
geldings, 20-90. No mules or
diaft horses were offered.
HOGS
May 23, 1966
The 629 head sold steady to
25 cents higher. Retail, 26-27;
wholesale (US. 1-3), 25 50-26.-
25; heavyweights, 24-25.50.
Ten shoats sold for 15-20 per
head.
