Report's On Rally And
Homemakers' Day
At a recent meeting in the
Educational Building of the
Salem Lutheran Church, Lin
coln, members o r the Society
of Farm Women Group No.
3 heard reports on the Spring
Rally held in York County,
and on the Homemakers’ Day
held at Meadow Hills Dining
House.
It was also reported that
eight members sewed 98 ar
ticles recently at the Ephra
ta Community Hospital.
Miss Alva Stuber intro
duced Mrs. Elizabeth Shaub,
an English instructor at Eph
rata Union High School and
a world traveler. Mrs. Shaub
gave an illustrated lecture on
her latest trip to the South
Pacific where she visited the
islands of Bora-Bora, Tahiti,
Fiji, also New Zealand, Aus
tralia, Singapore, and Hong
Kong.
Hostess for the meeting
