Tractor Contest
A York County Future
Farmer, George Snyder, of
(Red Loon, drove off with the
area tractor driving contest'
which was held Wednesday
at Jfanheim Central High
School.
Snyder, with 257 points of
a possible 350, had a com
fortable margin over his nevt
closest rival, John Xissley of
Manheim, who tallied 249
joints
By virtue ot his win here,
Snyder will repiesent Lan
caster and York Counties at
the state contest to be held
during FFA Week at Penn
State University.
Judges for the contest
were Harold Jamison, sales
representative of L H Bru
baker Co , and three voca
tional agriculture teachers —
Sene Daugherty, Garden Spot,
Doyle Paul Red Lion, and
Charles Ackley, Ephiata
