Get Clothes Ready For
Self-Service Drycleaning
To help you get the best results from
coin-operated drycleaning, get the garments
ready for cleaning before you leave home.
These are some things to do.
Brush dust and lint from inside pockets
and cuffs; brush off loose soil, such as dried
on mud.
Close all hooks and zippers to help keep >
the fabucs from snagging.
Remove noncleanable trim and foam rub
ber shoulder pads
Separate light-colored items from the
dark-colored ones and you keep dark lint off
light items and light lint from dark ones.
Tuin sweaters, knit dress
es, and beaded blouses inside
out
Turn velvet, velveteen and
corduroy garments inside out.
The pile of these fabrics at
tracts lint easily.
If you have sheer, sensi
tive fabrics and hea\y, bulky
garments to clean, do them
separately.
