4-H Club News
BOOTS & SADDLES CLUB

The legular monthly meet
ing of the 4-H Boots and
Saddles Horse and Pony Club
was held on Friday, Sept. 10
at the home of Jay Wissler,
Landisville.
Money from the sale of light
bulbs was collected.
Daniel Rohrer and Jay Wis
sler showed slides of their ex
change trip to Colorado.
A film on American Saddle
bred horses was also shown.
The next meeting will be
held Oct. 8, at 730 pm. at
the home of Ronald Kreider,
Manheim, R. D. 1.

ternational Airport on the
first leg of their People-to-
Peopile Mission on Sept 8.

the American Embassy and
Danish Ministry of Agricul
ture.
They Wave visited Danish
veterinary colleges and other
training institutes, m addition
to meeting with local veter
inary authorities.
Other stops on the 21-day
agenda include Stockholm,
Moscow and Tbilisi in the
Soviet Union, Warsaw and
Pulaiwy fin Poland, Prague,
Munich and Berlin. ,

Lrbrary Association.
Among other business, final
arrangements were made for
the Food Stand at the Ephrata
Fair with the decision to
serve fulhcourse meals each
day. Plans were discussed' for
spending October 3 at the
hunting lodlge of Mr and Mrs.

given by Richard Warren on
“A Covered Bridge Story.”

Martin.
Second year Mealtime Magic
girls who won special recogni
tion were Linda Porter and
Connie Stehman. Because these
two gilds won prizes the pre
vious year, Linda Smith and
Peggy Eshleman were next in
line and received these awards.
